Compassionate Las Vegas Podcast's second season premiers on World Compassion Day with a special episode focused on making the Las Vegas Valley a more compassionate place to live, work, and play. Las Vegas City Councilman Brian Knudsen, County Commissioner Justin Jones, and State Assemblyman William McCurdy II come together to focus on deliverable outcomes as they relate to addressing systemic racism in the valley. Compassionate Las Vegas is a grassroots organization whose mission is to foster the Charter for Compassion and the movement of compassion in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. They are part of a network of more than 440 compassionate cities in 56 countries and growing daily. Mayor Carolyn Goodman affirmed the Charter on behalf of the City of Las Vegas in 2013.
