Celebrate the Las Vegas Science and Natural History Museum's birthday by volunteering on July 11, 2026!
Volunteers assist with event activities, activity tables, and guest interactions. Shifts for this and other themed events (like DinoWeen) require a volunteer application and are perfect for earning community service hours.

ICAN (Issues Concerning Adolescents of Nevada): Hosts a highly regarded annual leadership camp for students ages 11 to 17 at Camp Lee Canyon, NV. Volunteers help facilitate, mentor, and teach smart life choices.

The Nevada Treasury is preparing for our 5th Annual Back-to-School Fair. They anticipate approximately 1,300 attendees, including Pre-K through 12th-grade students and their families. Our goal is to connect families with free resources and information to help them prepare for a successful school year.
25 Years Later: Never Forget Youth Day of Remembrance
Creating a Giving Culture LV is looking to lead a citywide youth day of remembrance, bringing together local K-12 students across Las Vegas to honor the lives lost, recognize our heroes, and ensure this moment is never forgotten. At the heart of this project will be a powerful, never-forget remembrance wall created by students and filled with messages of gratitude and reflection.
HOW CAN YOU HELP AND GET INVOLVED
We are looking to collect 4x6 cards. Please have the students write 1 or 2 sentences answering “Why is it important to remember 9-11?” or “How can our generation continue to honor those we lost?” Students can also add a drawing, and on the bottom, please write their name and grade.
We are looking to have K through 12 schools do one video with the entire school saying “WE WILL NEVER FORGET “this videos will be put together and played at the event.

Expect meaningful conversations, fresh ideas, powerful networking, and the opportunity to connect with leaders shaping the future of philanthropy in Nevada.
Check-In: 11:30 AM
Networking Lunch: 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM
Summit Program: 12:45 PM – 4:30 PM
What if the most powerful tool for healing division, loneliness, and polarization was something profoundly simple? Talk. Listen. Connect.
In our recent pilot training with nearly 100 participants from around the world, something remarkable happened. In breakout rooms and brief conversations, strangers found common ground. People shared what they love. Others listened, deeply. And in those moments, community began to form.
TLC is not a theory. It is a practice. And it may be one of the most important skills of our time.
Through a 2–3 hour Train-the-Trainer session, you can learn how to:
- Facilitate TLC in your own community
- Organize local gatherings
- Integrate TLC into schools, healthcare, faith communities, nonprofits, and civic spaces
- Build a visible network of TLC Bridge Builders
- Wear a TLC badge as a sign that you are someone safe to talk to
