This month, weâre inviting you to introduce yourself to the 2026 cohort in a creative and meaningful way. Your challenge: create a book cover that represents you - not just how you look, but who you are. This can be hand-drawn or AI-generated; both are welcome!
What to include:
đ A book cover featuring you (caricature or creative interpretation)
âď¸ A short summary of your book, this can be written as a biography or a story
đ Your story should share at least a little truth about you - your journey, experiences, values, or what has shaped you
Post your book cover and summary in our online community within Kajabi under the âApril Challengeâ section. Please see below for a link.

This is a chance to be seen, to share a piece of your story, and to learn more about one another in a creative way. Weâre excited to get to know you through your stories đŤ A few examples are below...

Opportunity to connect with other fellows and network at The Phoenix Community Center (3638 E Sunset Rd, #110, Las Vegas, NV, 89120). The Phoenix is a national nonprofit founded in 2006 that provides free, peer-led recovery support for individuals impacted by substance use and mental health challenges.
Our approach is non-clinical, meaning we focus on community, connection, and peer leadership as essential components of long-term recovery. Over the past two decades, The Phoenix has served more than 1 million individuals nationwide through in-person, virtual, and digital programming. Since expanding to Las Vegas six years ago, we have provided services to over 18,800 individuals in Clark County.
6:00-7:00 PM - OPTIONAL Phoenix Yoga with Michelle
If interested, fellows are invited to stay for an all-levels yoga flow, taught by Michelle Costigan, The Phoenix Community Center Manager (JF '25). This class is open to all members of The Phoenix community. We ask that everyone attending be mindful of our ethos of honoring sobriety and recovery by committing to 48+ hours of substance-free time before the class.
đ Self-Care Activity: âFuture You Check-Inâ
This one helps you step out of your current headspace.
- Sit somewhere comfortable and close your eyes (or soften your gaze).
- Imagine yourself 6 months from now, doing okay, not perfect, just steadier, lighter.
- Picture small details:
- How do they carry themselves?
- What feels less heavy for them?
- Now ask that version of you:
- âWhat did you stop taking so seriously?â
- âWhat helped you get through?â
- Donât force answers, just notice what comes up, even if itâs subtle or surprising.
When youâre done, take one slow breath and come back.
đ SAVE THE DATES:
May 1, 8:30 am to 5 pm: JF 2026 Improv Workshop
June 12, 8:30 am to 5 pm: Increasing Compassion - Enneagram Workshop

Chris MacQueen - April 15. Happy Belated Birthday!
Ryan Schmucker - May 4. Happy Early Birthday!
